Historic treasure! This cloth-bound antique Adirondack postcard album is a virtual historic record of the Adirondack Park in the early 20th century. Twenty-eight pages of two cards each feature beautifully colored postcards of some of the most beloved locations around the Adirondacks. A couple of the postcards have messages, but most are blank. All are preserved in clear plastic sleeves. Two that we could make out dates for are dated 1925 and 1913. Locations featured include many scenes of Lake George, Hotel Uncas, the Sagamore dock, Bolton Landing, Saratoga Lake, Schroon Lake and Lake Placid. There are many pages in the back of the album that are unfilled. The front of the album is embossed “Souvenir Post Cards”. The album cover measures 8.25 inches wide by 10.5 inches high. Spine is 2 inches wide. Black paper pages inside. A few of the rounded corner slits to hold the postcards have ripped, but most are intact. What an incredible conversation piece for your cottage coffee table or bookshelf, especially if you have fond memories of the Adirondacks!
