This small antique farm stool would be great for porch or garden. Probably made in the 1890s or so, its original green paint is mostly rubbed away on the top, but in pretty good shape on the sides. Staining of the wood results in a two-tone light and green effect which is very authentic and charming. Put together with nails, with a finger hole in the center for carrying. Very solid and heavy. Charming scalloped bottom edge on sides.Could have been a milking stool or step stool for reaching high in the pantry or barn. Top measures 17-1/4″ by 9-3/4″. Stands 13″ off the ground. Perfect plant stand or foot stool on a rustic porch. Please note: Due to weight or size this item will incur additional shipping costs. Arrangements to be made upon purchase.
