Wow! What a beauty this is! Never seen anything quite like it. This vintage burled wood side table was handmade from a thick slice of a birch tree trunk with the bark on. The surface of the tabletop appears to be burled wood, with lovely small swirly grain patterns and a beautiful smooth finish. Birch tree branches with the bark intact form the four legs and cross bars. Purchased at an antique auction in the Adirondacks, this gorgeous piece could be used as a side table, plant stand or stool. It stands 20.5 inches off the floor and the natural irregular-shaped top measures 14 inches by 15 inches at the widest points. The tabletop is over 4 inches thick, and the piece is very heavy. There is a natural crack in the wood tabletop surface on one side. Signed with the initials “DH” on the bottom of the tabletop. It doesn’t get any better than this when it comes to authentic vintage cabin decor! Please note: Due to weight or size this item will incur additional shipping costs. Arrangements to be made upon purchase.
