I fell in love with this photo on Pinterest, (are you addicted like I am?) from a Russian website. I wanted to see if I could create something similar, so this weekend, I hunted up vintage and antique bottles at an estate sale and a couple of local antique stores. It’s amazing what you can find when you’re on a mission!
I came up with cobalt glass instead of purple, but I was able to find some really interesting bottles, many of them very old. One of the wine bottles is from Spain, and the center clear one is a Romat bottle from Glasgow. One of the small blue bottles is embossed Bromo Seltzer and the small clear bottle is labeled Listerine.
It’s too early for lavender here in the east, but I thought it might be nice to try some of the sunny tulips that are in season. Seems to me this would be a beautiful display on a kitchen shelf or in front of a window; or how about on a buffet table for Easter?
