[pinterest count=”horizontal”] This gorgeous Royal Bavaria pine cone plate is made of translucent porcelain and signed by the artist, Fisher. The incredible cream, tan and brown decorative plate is hand painted with seven finely detailed pine cones and foliage. In the center is a softly mottled yellow, green and brown painted background. The back is stamped Royal Bavaria and has a crown symbol with a cross on top. Though we have done extensive Internet research, we have not been able to identify the age or manufacturer of this exquisite cabinet plate. We did find a reference to the mark on the website Porcelain Marks & More, but it is listed as unidentified. Though we haven’t been able to find historical information about the plate, we do know that it is extremely fine and rare. It could be vintage or antique, but is definitely not recent. If you hold the plate up to the light, you can see its translucent quality. The plate measures 12 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are some small and faint scratches to the surface, but nothing significant. This extraordinary plate would be the perfect centerpiece on a beautiful fall buffet or sideboard. Couldn’t be more lovely for your Thanksgiving celebration.
