[pinterest count=”horizontal”] Great mid-century modern look to this fabulous vintage UPCO speckled basket planter embossed UPCO USA on bottom. The rectangular planter with dimensional geometic design is beige with a brown speckles in the glaze, and measures 7.5 inches wide by 4 inches deep. Stands 3 inches high. In absolutely perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. UPCO is short for the Ungemach Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio. Fred Ungemach began the company – at first named South Fork Pottery – in 1937. The design aesthetics were Art Deco, streamlined and futuristic. This planter matches another piece we have listed here: https://vintageadirondack.com/product/vintage-upco-speckled-planter/ Together they would make a fabulous retro statement. (See last photo for both planters together.)
